Changing Tomorrow Today

Astellas' annual Changing Tomorrow Day initiative underscores Astellas' dedication to making a difference in our local communities. Astellas affiliates around the globe dedicate an entire day to participate in organized, local community service. In the Americas, Astellas employees have dedicated over 100,000 hours since 2005.

Commitment to Sustainability

The Astellas headquarters for the Americas in Northbrook, Ill., is LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is one of the primary rating systems for the design, construction and operation of energy-efficient buildings. A Gold certification indicates the buildings are designed and constructed with sustainable concepts and practices that sustainably reduce their impact on the environment as compared to other, similar facilities.
